I think I am more of an absolutist because it seems as though a relativist can do anything and justify it by stating that it was appropriate for the occasion. Plus my relationship with God sets a lot of dues and don'ts. But after the rules, we have to make choices at your own risk.
Relativist do have a point when it comes to exploring outside the gates of normal thinking. It is like a whole universe of information to be discovered but we absolutist will classify you as playing the role of God. That's just the relative side of me.
Then you have to worry about power getting in the wrong hands. The absolute side of me does not want a cloned Craig M. McGhee Jr. walking around this earth at the same time as I am. For some cultures, if kill a man, then I can be killed for his death. I might have been hunting and accidentally kill a man. Then my blood could be shed to. Or some cultures will find it illegal to use sedation medications that can grow freely in my yard (marijuana). It is just unmistakably wrong.
